In this March 29, 2012, Baker Institute lecture, veteran foreign correspondent and author Paul Starobin discusses the 2012 Russian presidential election and the aftermath.
Starobin is the author of “After America: Narratives for the Next Global Age.” He was Moscow bureau chief for Businessweek from 1999 until 2003, and he has written about Russia for The Atlantic, National Geographic, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe and National Journal. Most recently, Starobin covered the 2012 Russian presidential elections and aftermath for The New Republic. He has also appeared as a Russia expert on CNN and PBS NewsHour and is developing a documentary film, “Russia: Body and Soul.”
